RUE SNIDER
Rock & roll album campaign for a Brooklyn artist.
Wouldn’t be summer without the Cyclone.
Brooklyn-based musician Rue Snider needed a new look for his upcoming LP out in July. His logo needed to capture the bright, upbeat nature of his sound with the inspiring, unapologetic energy of NYC. His new LP, “City Living,” displays a more mature sound with more production and instrumentation, heavily influenced by Cyndi Lauper, REM, and the Smiths. We tried to create a logotype that had a punky 80s flair, but was still true to the 21st century.
We collaborated with photographer Lindsay Nolin to create a campaign that was mysterious, romantic, and a bit harrowing, which represented the emotions throughout the album.
